Holiday Helpers

The holiday's are fast approaching and I have compiled a list of holiday helpers that can help us reach our monetary goal for the upcoming gift giving season without putting too much of a strain on our budgets.

Recently, there has been increased interest in companies that offer layaway programs because it allows the consumer to put down a small payment to hold their items and pay a little every month instead of paying for your items all at once.  Companies that offer layaway programs offer flexibility and convenience for the consumer.

Recycling your ununsed electronics is a good thing both for the consumer and for the environment.  It allows us to utilize trade-in programs and in exchange we get credit for our unused electronics.  Check out this ConsumerReports.org article for more information regarding Buy Back Programs vs. Trade-In Programs.
