This is the official CVS Coupon Policy provided by CVS Corporate Headquarters:
CVS/pharmacy and Coupons

CVS/pharmacy strives to make it easy for our customers to use coupons to cut costs on health, beauty and household expenses.
·         Your local CVS/pharmacy store will accept one store coupon and one manufacturer coupon per item purchased, as long as relevant conditions are met (e.g. expiration dates, limits, terms, etc.)
·         When an item is on sale for “Buy one, get one free” and the customer has a “Buy one, get one free” coupon for that same product, the coupon will be accepted and both items will essentially become free (plus any applicable sales tax). Two manufacturer coupons can be used on a “Buy one, get one free” purchase as long as two items are scanned at the register.
·         In addition, customers may use ExtraBucks rewards earned through the ExtraCare program to stack their savings along with coupons and sales.
·         CVS/pharmacy will accept coupons printed from the Internet. They must have a legible barcode that scans at the register. CVS/pharmacy will not accept offers printed from unauthorized internet postings or reproductions, copies, or facsimiles.
·         Regarding coupons presented on smart phones and mobile devices: CVS/pharmacy is exploring greener options for the future, but at this time, paper copies of coupons are required to redeem them.
·         CVS/pharmacy does not accept competitors’ coupons on front store items.
·         As a courtesy, competitor's coupons on new or transferred prescription drugs are generally accepted at CVS/pharmacy; however, for individual questions about specific coupons, customers are encouraged to speak with the store manager or call 1-800-SHOP-CVS.

Regarding the coupons ExtraCare cardholders receive via email:
·         CVS/pharmacy understands that consumers are looking for great deals online and we encourage our customers to share stories and tips for savvy shopping with one another. However, many of the coupons and special offers ExtraCare members receive are not general promotions that can be shared, forwarded or linked to other offers.
·         When special ExtraCare offers and email alerts are issued to a select group of cardholders, these offers are only valid with the ExtraCare cards that belong to offer recipients. These offers will state this in the disclaimer language."

Grand Opening of Kid's Mart

It was a bright and sunny Monday morning when we arrived at 730am in the classroom to finish up last minute things, hang signs and balloons, decorate and set out samples for our Grand Opening of Kid's Mart.

Kid's Mart started out as idea in the minds of Tanya Carter and I.  It is a place we created in our kid's Kindergarten Classroom for our kids, their classmates and their teacher to enjoy for the rest of this school year.  Their class voted to name their creative play space Kid's Mart.  This creative play space is equipped with a market, a house area and an office.

The kids were really looking forward to Monday's Grand Opening of Kid's Mart and cannot wait to play in their new creative play area!

Here are some pictures of how our day went.

Everyone got to finally have a look inside of kid's mart, get a guided tour, listen to the rules, try samples of juice and fruits that were on special and enter to win door prizes.  Everyone's names were pulled and everyone won a door prize.

Here are what the different spaces of the room look like.

Thank You San Diego Padres For Supporting Our Military Service Members

Today the San Diego Padres offered military service members and their spouses both past and present (with id) two free admission tickets to tonight's game at 7:05pm vs. the Pittsburg Pirates.  Our kids had been wanting to check out a Padres game since we moved here but we had not had the opportunity until tonight.  My husband, our two kids and I thought it was a good night to spend at Petco Park because of this.

When we arrived it was about 530pm, the weather was beautiful - sunny with a breeze.  As we were looking for our seats, the lady for our section (117) was very nice to my husband thanking him for his service and our sacrifices and absolutely thought it was the best idea that the San Diego Padres were offering free tickets to US military service members.  She was kind enough to tell us where our seats were and she was wonderful to talk with.  We walked around for a bit, signed our kids up for Jr. Padres, got some food and sat down to relax before the game started up.  The ambiance of the ballpark was just like how we see on television.  We purchased beer, popcorn and soda from the concessions and cotton candy from a vendor walking around.  The entire night was one of the best nights we have had in awhile.

The game started out kind of slow because the Pirates were up 4 to 0 but as the game rolled on, the Padres were making a come back.  At the end of the game the Padres lost 4 to 3.  I loved that the Padres asked to wear their camouflage uniforms for tonights game to support our US service members, it was a really nice touch!

We left at the bottom of the 8th inning because we wanted to get out of the area before the end of the game to beat the traffic and get home.  Our kids really enjoyed themselves and we really enjoyed ourselves as well.

Here we are enjoying the night at Petco Park with the San Diego Padres.

Thank you San Diego Padres for offering the two free tickets for military service members and their spouses in lieu of what has recently happened in the news.  Your appreciation in allowing our family to come out to the ballpark to spend tonight with the San Diego Padres Family means so much to our family.  It was all of our first times coming to your park here in beautiful San Diego, California.

May Day Ho'olaule'a at Mission Bay Park

It was a beautiful day out.  It was in the 80's, sunny and there was a nice breeze.  Today we went with our friends Rolland and Shanna and their boy to check out the Ho'olaule'a at Mission Bay Park in San Diego, California.  There was plenty of free parking and there was free admission.  When we arrived at about 945am, there was an area set up for the halau's to perform, vendor booths set up and food booths already cranking out the local kine foods.  While waiting for our friends to arrive, our kids ordered up a breakfast plate that included 2 slices spam, 4 slices portuguese sausage, 1 large scoop eggs and 1 large scoop rice that they split evenly.  After that we tried their malasadas - they never taste authentic like the ones back home.

When our friends arrived, we found a place to sit under a tree that provided shade.  Then we went to pick up lunches and bring them back for our families to eat.  We had two of their kalua pig/macaroni salad/rice plate lunch for $8 each and we brought water from home to drink to save some money.  We had two shaved ice at $5 a piece that was so worth it in the heat.  The kids loved having one after they got out from swimming.  Toward the afternoon, the kids laid out in the sun to semi dry off and the adults sat and talked while the baby was sleeping.  At about 245pm, we all decided to head home after enjoying everything the day had to offer.  When we were leaving, a lot more people were there enjoying the festivities and the food on this beautiful May Day.

Here are some pictures from our day today.
